Hi Silver Team;
Welcome to technology in 7th grade 
We will be utilizing many forms of technology this year. Use this blog for updates and feel free to post. I’ll try to check in each day and answer you. We’ll first kick off with creation of a Wordle and move into work with Excel next week.

This is the update for students wishing to work on their student portfolios for technology the week we are off and into January before we end this quarter.
You should have a “school page – or slide” to begin.
The following slides should be made: A “Favorites” slide for personal and school and a “Wordle” slide.
For technology: the “Nine Intelligences” slide and a “Photoshop Exhibit” slide.
Math: “Twenty Four Hours of a Student”
LA: Your current book that you are reading for your “book club” AND any or all books that you have read this year.
Art: two separate slides - “Self Portrait” and “Value Drawing”.
Science: set up two slides – one for “A Cell Is Like…” and one for “Ecosystems”
Social Studies: “I Am” poem and “Twelve Commonalities”
You do not have to have these completed until the end of the quarter or January 16th.
There will be extra credit slides for those who have completed this requirement.
