7th Grade Technology

Students, Parents and Teachers,

We have been using PowerPoint to develop an ongoing and relatively simple way to showcase our learning in the 7th grade technology class. Every student will develop and save their own portfolio. This is the basis for the fourth quarter grade as well as a portion of the student’s grade in the preceding quarters.

PARENTS – Please note that PowerPoint is traditionally used as a presentation tool, however we have chosen to use it for our portfolio collection method.

I will be adding information as I learn about it. Presently, I am utilizing a personal teaching portfolio at TaskStream for my Sixth Year Degree at the University of Connecticut at Storrs.

Students will need to bring a photo of themselves to add to their portfolio. All portfolios will be confidential unless I receive student approval to share their portfolio.
